AU Information-WIP
Hakuryuu as a prince of Kou has wanted nothing more to be helpful to his father, and to grow up 'just like' his two elder brothers. So when his mother offers him a chance to help her with her work(which he knew nothing of) he agrees readily. Thus the experiments started. When he returned home it was just in time to be a part of the Great Fire.
Which shoved him even farther down the path of darkness as both of the brothers he looks up to die in it, one choosing to end his life so that he can escape the fire thanks to his brother's blood wetting his skin and clothes. (He's got serious family issues.) Thus his attitude toward Kou changes drastically. He goes from wanting to serve to wanting to destroy. In no small part thanks to the stuff done to him and his Mother, Gyokuen's goading him on.
Hakuei is still his voice of reason(at this moment.), and Judar is the one egging him to give in to the darker urges in his head. It goes without saying that he's never left the country. It would be too dangerous for him to do so. They already have one run-away to deal with. Though Hakuryuu is unaware of this fact.
He is also aware of what may happen if his collar were to be taken away and tries not to aggravate his mother.(though he'd like to very much, thankfully most of his acts of rebellion toward her she takes in surprising stride.)
Al Thaman?: same old, same old. Weirdo's bent on world domination and destruction.

so I don't forget.

What are Djinn: pretty much the same as in the series. The memories from the Rukh of people bound to metal items to be "equipped" by er, Dungeoneers or whoever happens to hold. Pretty much all are from Alma Torran.
Dark Djinn?: Ah, a bit different here, as they are the same thing. It actually plays a major part of the story, as kidnapping and trying to bind people's rukh is the goal here. Hakuryuu is considered a bit of failure, but at least a reasonably controllable one. If only because of his goal to kill his own mother and destroy Kou.
